“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way--things I had no words for.”

A Little Selfish Sewing

These scrappy patchwork pot holders are just what I needed to make today... and nothing else!

Gotta Love Lotta

Lotta Jansdotter's fabric collection, Mormor has arrived and I think it might be my favorite collection of hers, although I fell very hard for her first collection, Echo, which I still am in love with. I'm sure that I was not the only fabric fiend that was happy to see some fun bright colors pop up and I wasted no time in creating a colorful, girly baby quilt... so, so bright and springy!

I also put together a few other fabric combo's for more future quilts. This bundle combines Mormor, Echo and Bella collections.

I put this bundle together for a LARGE quilt for our King-sized bed. I added a few favorites from other designers and one from the Echo collection. I can't wait to climb under this quilt. It's going to be a big one so I had better get started!

Blomma, (blossom in Swedish) Little Girl, Modern Baby Quilt, Crib Quilt, Toddler Quilt, Baby Quilt. A bright and colorful patchwork quilt created with Lotta Jansdotter's Mormor fabric collection. Backed with Pearl Pink Kona Cotton and bound with Squared Elements in Shadow from Art Gallery Fabrics. Batting is cotton Warm and White. Machine quilted by me in a random meandering pattern. Measures 33" x 44". A perfect size quilt for the crib or as a take along nap time quilt for a toddler.
